Indigi-Aid is a virtual telethon broadcast live on major social media outlets on June 11th at 5 pm EST.  The purpose of Indigi-Aid is to raise funds to assist Indigenous communities throughout the Episcopal Church in their struggles from the effects of the covid pandemic.  Indigenous communities are particularly vulnerable at this time due to an insufficiency in medical supplies and facilities, lower food and water security in comparison to the general population, and an overabundance of pre-existing health conditions.  The telethon will feature Indigenous artists from many tribes, and all funds raised will go directly to the affected Indigenous communities.  The event is a grass roots effort sponsored by the Episcopal Diocese of Northern Michigan.  For more information please see our pages on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.”  #indigiaid
